The Mecenate Palace is a 4-star hotel in Rome city centre, a short distance from the Roman Forum, the Colosseum and the Opera House, with convenient public transport connections to shopping and business areas such as piazza Barberini, via Bissolati, via Condotti, and the Spanish Steps. The hotel is comprised of two adjacent buildings, one overlooking Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore, which dates back to 1887 and the other on via Carlo Alberto, that was built a few years later. Renovation work was carefully planned to restore the building's façades and the romantic interiors to their original splendour. Amenities include a meeting room for 40 persons, an Internet Point, a panoramic roof garden and a garage. Pets are not accepted.
